WWII was of the most horrific and legendary wars. Some of the main causes of World War II were: to regain Germany’s lost land and power and France and Britain gave into Hitler’s first demands to try and avoid another world war. This war started in 1939 and lasted until 1945.The war was the most widespread war in history. The war was split into two sides, the Axis powers consisted of: Italy, Germany, and Japan; and the Allies which were mainly: France, Great Britain, United States, and Russia. Hitler obsession for power led him to try to commit a genocide of the Jews and attempting to kill off all other minorities that were not apart of the “master race”. The anti-Semitic nature of the Nazi’s lead to the Holocaust. In the mean time, Japan was going through a hard economical time and need natural resources. This lead to Japan’s invasion of Manchuria which is a resource-rich region of Northern China. Japan bombs Pearl Harbor in turn, the U.S. enters the war.
